Square meters alone do not price a landscape. Grading, soil, drainage, irrigation, hardscape, plant sizes, access, lighting and structural work can make two equally sized gardens completely different projects.
1. Earthworks and grade
Machine access, the amount of soil to move and slope can change the cost before you choose plants.
Toprak
Whether existing soil can be used, the need for planting soil and the amount of improvement are separate items.
Drenaj
If surface water and drainage around the building are needed, the infrastructure budget grows.
Otomatik sulama
The number of zones, controller, valve boxes, filter, pressure regulation and pipe length affect the price.
Sert zemin
Natural stone, porcelain, concrete, edging and base work are not only a per-square-meter surface price.
Bitki boyu
A small nursery plant and a specimen of the same species grown for years can differ sharply in price and transport.
7. Lawn
Keep turf where it has a functional role and where light, access and irrigation can support it. Narrow, steep or heavily shaded strips often deserve a different surface or planting strategy.
8. Lighting
Besides the fixture you need cable, a transformer or driver, a panel and electrical infrastructure.
9. Structural elements
Pergolas, decking, retaining walls, pool surroundings and custom fabrication can affect the budget more than the landscape plants.
10. Transport and access
A narrow street, the need for a crane or a machine that cannot enter the garden changes the labor.
11. Design and site supervision
The project, plant list, detail drawings and site coordination are a separate professional service.
12. The start of maintenance
Irrigation should target the active root zone without creating runoff or permanently saturated soil. Check moisture below the surface and adjust runtime, frequency and emitter layout to the actual soil and season.
How do you compare quotes?
Look not only at the total but at the items in the same quantities and technical description. If one includes drainage and soil preparation and the other only plants plus lawn, the quotes are not equivalent.
A field-first rule
Before changing the whole garden, test the assumption in a small area and document the result. Landscape problems are often site-specific; a measured observation is more valuable than a universal minute, dose or plant list.
